FACTS
Army Public School Bangalore is a co-educational Institution founded in the year 1980.
APS Bangalore started with just one section of VI Std with 12 boys and 01 girl. On 1st Jul 1981, the School was shifted to its present location at Baird Barracks (now Abdul Hamid Barracks) with Classes I to VIII.

Accreditation

The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education. It prepares the students for the All India Secondary School Examination (Class X) and the All India Senior School Certificate Examination (Class XII) conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi.

Curriculum

Apart from the usual subjects APS has a well established Computer Department.
The fee structure as approved by Army Welfare Education Society and ratified by the School Managing Committee is levied in the School.
Admission: The children of serving Army Personnel are given top priority and never denied admission. Thereafter, in order of priority, children of the following categories are considered:-
(a) Children of Army Serving/Ex-Servicemen.
(b) Children of Serving Navy/Air Force Personnel.
(c) Children of retired Navy/Air Force Personnel.
(d) Children of Civilian paid out of Defence estimates, Para Military Forces, MES, GREF & TA Battalion.
